How we started?
Kirty Khanijou had a very early beginning in 2008 when she was pursuing her degree in Computer Graphics and Multimedia. Very soon she realised her exceptional talent towards photography & cinematography which motivated her to rise above her limitations and start working towards her dreams. She held herself to impeccable standards and progressed with some falls along. Soon after, there was no looking back with the massive growth and collaborations that came her way.

How we got here?
Hard work, Dedication and Patience are our formula to success. Today we are a team of Professional Photographers, Cinematographers and Retouchers. Photography to us is not just an aspect of capturing beautiful moments, it’s a whole process. It’s not just a business, it’s our passion, it gives us creative fulfillment and allows us to express ourselves artistically.

When we are covering an event, we make sure our clients are well aware of us and are comfortable sharing their moments with us. I personally am not fond of posed photographs, I prefer capturing the couple when they don’t realize the photo has been taken – CANDID.

Every girl wants to look beautiful on her special day. On the day of the event, we make sure the couple has a session while they are getting ready. And a Mini session of them and their family before the event begins. After the wedding events these photos will bring back your excitement and make you reminisce your good old memories

DM Official Shots was founded by Dev Mohnani since 2010. It had always been Dev’s passion to take photos ever since he was little. Starting from travel photos, he eventually entered into the field of portraits, event photography & wedding photography. The company is known for having an absolutely friendly team to work with and with the ability to capture even the smallest emotions. DM Official Shots offer both candid & traditional photography as well as videography.

Why I love capturing portraits? I love capturing portraits because it gives me more room to understand my model. Understanding the model makes you capture her/him much more easily with more natural shots. Trust me, natural shots work out the best.

Which part of weddings do you really look forward to photographing? For Indian weddings, most say the Sangeet Nights are fun because of the dance & the alcohol. For me, as a wedding photographer, the part where both the bride and the groom have to promise each other what they will fulfill throughout the wedded years is important & most inspiring. No more distancing yourself from each other. On the other hand for western weddings, I’d prefer the moment where both the bride and groom say “I DO.”
